Xu Wen said in his speech that Zhenjiang has always kept in mind the ardent request of General Secretary Xi Jinping that "Zhenjiang has a great future" and accelerated on the road of high-quality development; deeply studied and implemented the spirit of the 20th Party Congress, emphasizing the important role of the rule of law in urban construction; strived to make the material foundation more solid, democracy and rule of law more sound, spiritual culture more richer, people's life better, people and nature more harmonious, the security barrier more solid, depicting a new picture of modernized Zhenjiang in Chinese style.

Zhou Jiye said in his speech that under the leadership of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and the Political and Legal Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the guidance of the Chinese Law Society, the Jiangsu Provincial Law Society has taken the deepening of legal theory as the grip, closely focused on the central work of the provincial party committee and municipal government and the requirements of the province's major work deployment, to help modernize the rule of law in China. Li Lin stressed in his speech that jurisprudence researchers, especially jurisprudence researchers, should bear in mind the mission, political responsibility and academic responsibility of Chinese jurisprudence, give full play to the political, professional, disciplinary and talent advantages of the Jurisprudence Research Association, adhere to the problem-oriented, goal-oriented and result-oriented, adhere to the correct political direction, adhere to the righteousness and innovation, and strive to accelerate the building of a peaceful China with good law and good governance In addition, the Chinese Academy of Law will provide strong jurisprudential support for the building of a peaceful China, a rule of law China and a modernized and strong country.

Xu Xianming put forward four suggestions for the work of the Jurisprudence Research Society of the Chinese Law Society: to further implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and deeply comprehend the essence of Xi Jinping's thought on the rule of law; to further strengthen the research on basic legal theories and innovate and develop the research system of legal theories; to further focus on practical applications and strengthen the practical research on the comprehensive rule of law; and to further strengthen the exchange of legal theories; Further strengthen the exchange and cooperation of legal theoretical research to provide strong theoretical support for the construction of a legal discipline system, academic system and discourse system with distinctive Chinese characteristics and the enrichment and development of socialist theory of the rule of law with Chinese characteristics. Focusing on the theme of "Chinese modernization and comprehensive rule of law", he gave a special tutorial report on "studying, propagating and implementing the spirit of the 20th Party Congress".

After the opening ceremony, eight experts and scholars, including Gong Pixiang and Fu Zitang, gave keynote speeches on the themes of "Distinctive Features of Chinese-style Rule of Law Modernization" and "Human Rights Value of Chinese-style Rule of Law Modernization and its World Significance". The conference set up five sub-forums, in which the experts focused on "Xi Jinping's Thought on Rule of Law and Innovation of Rule of Law Theory", "Jurisprudential Issues in Chinese Modernization", "Basic Issues of Jurisprudence", "Digitalization, Networking and Intelligence", and "The Modernization of the Rule of Law in China".
